This summer I got an EMBO short-term fellowship to join for some weeks the laboratory of Professor Itzhak Ohad at The Alexander Silberman Institute of Life Sciences.

At Mainz I work since August 1996 as a Postdoc founded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft with Prof. Dr. H. Paulsen at the Institut fuer Allgemeine Botanik.

Since November 1997 I stay supported by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft in Lund to work with Professor John F. Allen at Plant Cell Biology.

Now I am looking forward to what will happen in 1998.

I enjoy the time at Plant Cell Biology because it is an open department. We make who we are, and what we do, available to the world. This is what universities are for.
